Kayak - Short Animation Film

Kayak is a short 2d animated film that brings you on a day in the life of a boy next door named Kabir who grieves the loss of his brother Kayak by reliving those moments shared with his brother with a living and breathing kite on the festival of kites. My first solo animation project that I worked on for my final year project. I did all the concept art on photoshop, animation on animate cc, compositing was done in after effects and final edit along with sound was done on premiere pro. More than 90 percent of the visuals in the film are drawn using Graphics tablet. The animation was done in 2s.
